I've decided that recording some of my ideas here is a good thing. Maybe there's a chance I'll get around to them then. lol

1. Calling in: "Dead" - I'm thinking this will be a short story about someone who calls into work and says he can't come in because he's dead. It will probably start off at his place of work and then go to a flashback after the call comes in. The twist to this will be that by the time the call is received, the man who placed it should actually be dead. Nothing supernatural here though. Probably just a fast clock. The events leading up to the phone call should be very entertaining though.

2. No Room Left in Heaven - This one will be an extension of the idea of a person known as a "Sin Eater". The Order, starring Heath Ledger, is my inspiration in particular. For those not familiar, a "sin-eater" is a person who can supposedly take the burden of sin from another person, and carry it himself. In that movie, the sin-eater is immortal, until another kills him in a ritualized way and assumes his power. It would be set in the future, near the time when the human race is almost extinct. The question is: What happens when there are no more souls to save? Hopefully, this can work as a short series.

3. Another Life - How many times have I said: "perhaps in another life"? More than I can count at the moment. This would be a series of short stories based on those mythical "other lives" that I could have lived. I plan on writing them as if they were totally different incarnations - different places, names, and time periods. I don't think I'll give out any details of exactly what circumstances triggered the "another life" comment though.
